So I have missed one day at the gym...

Today I didn't hit the gym, and although I have been going 3 times a week.... I really would like to go 4 times per week. I have been working out for three weeks and I have only lost a pound. Granted, I am not clean eating... just getting used to the work out regimine first. I am hoping to start eating better/full blown cooking clean after my birthday, Feb. 6th. I feel like that gives me a solid month to get used to my workouts.

How do you stay motivated?


  1. Cut yourself some slack! Do what you can do, when you can do it. Nothing happens overnight, gradual changes for the better still count as changes for the better.

    The only thing that gets me moving, and this will sound strange, but it's my dog! LOL I tell myself that I'm doing it for her. The results that I've seen are also good motivation.

    Also try to remind yourself that working out and eating right aren't chores, they're part of your new lifestyle. Keep it up!
